Hi everyone and welcome to the third day of our countdown to Christmas! Our crystal of the day today is Rose Quartz. We will discuss the healing properties, the science as well as how to use this crystal as a tool in your life in this blog post.

Today's positive affirmation:

'I love and accept myself.'

(Hold your crystal, close your eyes and repeat three times.)

Watch today's video:

Rose Quartz is often called the stone of 'Unconditional Love'. It has a beautiful, gentle and loving energy. Here are some of the many metaphysical properties of Rose Quartz:

  • love

  • joy

  • positivity

  • kindness

  • gentleness

  • healing the heart

  • self love

  • happiness

  • mindfulness

  • femininity

  • fertility

  • pregnancy

  • friendship

As discussed in this video, I love taking my Rose Quartz tumble stone with me in my bag wherever I go and I have been doing this for many years. It was one of the first crystals that I remember coming across one day and purchasing which started my passion for crystals. I will always feel drawn to Rose Quartz and it's energy.

Rose Quartz is a great stone when working with the Heart Chakra. It has a gentle energy that helps to heal and centre the heart and open you up to love in your life.

Furthermore, this crystal is great for beginners and is a must have for any crystal collection. You can meditate with this stone daily and this can help to align your energy to the vibration of love.

Rose Quartz is a Quartz crystal so, as we discussed in the past two videos and blog posts, it is composed of silicon and oxygen atoms and is a Silicon dioxide (SiO2) crystal. It is also known as silica. Quartz crystals have a Mohs hardness of 7 and I find that because of this they are great tools in your crystal collection because with them being a more durable mineral, you are able to put a tumbled stone in water or have them in your bathroom without worrying that they are going to get wet. You are therefore able to cleanse quartz crystals in water. You will find a lot of Rose Quartz in masses and they have a beautiful pink shade which is where it gets it's name, Rose Quartz. However, the crystal can vary from very light pink/ almost clear to a more reddish tone.

Rose Quartz is one of my favourites in my collection and I will always have a special connection to their energy because I have been drawn to them from the beginning of my crystal journey.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this blog post and check in again tomorrow at 12pm for our next crystal of the day!

Sending you love and positive energy!

Hanna
