Day 9 - Bloodstone - 24 Days of Crystals

Today's crystal of the day is Bloodstone. It is an amazing healing stone that helps with clearing, strength and blancing emotions. 

Bloodstone healing properties include being useful for all types of blood ailments. Helping to strengthen the blood which is beneficial for people with anemia. This stone can be useful in balancing the female hormones as well as stabilising the hormones throughout menopause. 

Bloodstone really helps to clear one's auric field of negative energies and has a grounding effect. This makes it a great stone to hold during meditation.

This stone assists one in feeling more determined and self-sufficient.

As an intense deep green stone flecked with red spots, Bloodstone lives up to its name. Also knowns as Heliotrope, the Ancient Greeks believed it reflected the red hues of the setting sun: helios and trepein meaning “to turn."

Bloodstone’s iron richness plays a key role in its metaphysical power to transmute base emotions like irritability, aggressiveness and selfishness into higher heart-centered ones.
