Day 17 - Unakite - 24 Days of Crystals

Welcome back to our countdown to Christmas, crystal style! Today's crystal of the day is Unakite! This crystal is a powerful healing stone that we wanted to include in our advent calander so that you could have this stone in your crystal toolkit! Unakite is great for nurturing, healing and helping to practice patience and mindfulness.

Unakite's healing properties include treating the reproductive system, aiding a healthy pregnancy and the growth of skin tissue and hair. Unakite can offer support in treatments of cancers and heart disease. The stone balances the emotional body, resonating with the frequency of love, compassion and kindness. 

Its green and peach colours resemble Earth and Mother Nature which we feel gives this stone a very grounding and balancing energy. It reminds us to take a moment to take a deep breath and be present in the moment. It has also been seen as a stone of vision which makes it a good crystal for working with the third eye chakra. This has a lovely effect on healing as it brings our emotional body and spiritual body into balance. Unakite is a must have crystal for crystal healers!

Unakite teaches patience and persistence, it reminds one that anything worth having is worth waiting for. Unakite also resonates powerfully with the heart encouraging one to lead with compassion. It develops emotional intelligence and security in one’s path.
