Day 15 - Botswana Agate - 24 Days of Crystals

Today we are getting closer to Christmas with only 9 Days left of our countdown, crystal style! Today's crystal of the day is Grey and Pink Agate, also known as Botswana Agate. I love this stone due to its unique and beautiful patterns. They instantly make me feel more relaxed and calm.

Botswana Agate is banded with layers of gentle pink and serene grey which gives it a graceful tranquility . Botswana Agate is part of the quartz family and although it doesn't look like quartz it is a form banded with chalcedony These earthy quartz formations emanate grounding and stabilising properties to anchor light firmly in form.

In meditation, Botswana Agate is a lovely stone to use if wanting to work with your spirit guides and communicating with higher self wisdom that brings harmony to any inner conflicts. Agate dissolves psychological tension and resistance with calming waves of awareness. 

When working with the chakras, I feel that it is good for the heart chakra for its gental loving energy as well as the third eye chakra due to the high vibrational energy. It also is great for using during crystal healing as it can be used to help clear and focus the mind as well as balance our emotions which allows you to work on self love and inner healing.
