Charging Crystals Under the Full Moon

Hi everyone and welcome back to Inner Sparkle Crystals! In today's post we are going to be discussing the Full Moon and how you can use the Full Moon to charge your crystals.

Tonight, as I am writing this, it is the Strawberry Full Moon and a Lunar Eclipse, so exciting! Tonight is a lovely time to write down your thoughts and feelings, release what no longer serves you and set intentions with your crystals. It is also great to meditate and practice gratitude, try a 10 minute meditation while playing high vibrational music followed by writing down and thinking of all that you are grateful for. This helps to recharge your energy and put you in a positive mindset ready to work with your crystals.

The reason we need to cleanse and charge our crystals is because they absorb energy both positive and negative. Think of your crystals like a battery, they need to be charged up because you want them to have a high frequency and emit positive energy!

So now comes the fun part! Gather all the crystals you feel need to be cleansed and charged under the Full Moon. First you want to cleanse your crystals which helps to rid unwanted energies and neutralise it. Some ways you can cleanse your crystals:

• hold them in your hand, running some fresh water on them (check first if the crystal can go in water- all Quartz crystals will be fine in water)

• Reiki energy, holding them in your hands

• sound cleansing such as using a sound bowl or playing high frequency music close to the crystals

• smoke such as sage or incense

I love to use water for some of my crystals and the crystal Selenite to place around the crystals while they sit under the moonlight.

I love taking the time to set my intentions with my crystals on the night of the Full Moon by holding the crystal in between both my hands, closing my eyes and visualising and saying my intention. I will then place my crystals by the window during a Full Moon or on a clear and dry night, placing them outside under the Full Moon. During the night the crystals will be able to cleanse and charge under the light of the Full Moon. They will soak in all the powerful energy during the night and in the morning when you go to collect your crystals you will notice how they feel recharged and almost look like they shine and sparkle more!

Say some positive affirmations while collecting your crystals in the morning, helping to raise your vibrations and set your intentions for the day ahead.

I find doing the Full Moon ritual with my crystals helps me focus on my goals and desires. I feel it is a special time where you can practice self care, the Law of Attraction, gratitude, meditation and connect with your crystals which helps to magnify anything you wish to set out to do.
